Installation Procedure
Install the engine auxiliary radiator (2) to the charge air cooler bracket (3).
- Charge Air Cooler Bracket- Upper (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution
Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Charge Air Cooler Upper Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Charge Air Cooler Upper Insulator (3) - Install [2x]
Install the engine auxiliary radiator assembly (1) to the vehicle.
Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
- Charge Air Cooler Upper Bracket Nut (2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
Install the radiator outlet hose retainer (2) into the radiator outlet hose connector.
- Install the radiator outlet hose (1) to the engine auxiliary radiator ensuring that the radiator outlet hose retainer (3) is fully engaged.
- Radiator Outlet Hose Clip (3) - Install
Install the radiator inlet hose retainer (1) into the radiator inlet hose connector.
- Radiator Inlet Hose (2) - Install
- Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the engine auxiliary radiator ensuring that the radiator inlet hose retainer (1) is fully engaged.
Auxiliary Radiator Front Duct (1) - Install
Front Bumper Impact Bar (2) - Install
- Front Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications
- Install the wiring harness.
Horn (2) - Install [2x]
- Horn Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace (2) - Install [2x]
- Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Intake Air Duct Retainer (1) - Install [2x]
- Radiator Air Lower Seal Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
- Radiator Air Lower Baffle Retainer (3) - Install [2x]
- NOTE:
The front bumper fascia support brace (2) may have a forward range radar sensor attached, if equipped.
Front Bumper Fascia Support Brace (2) - Install
- Front Bumper Fascia Support Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the electrical connector to the forward range radar sensor, if equipped.
Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Install [2x]
Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Install [3x]
- Install the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing CFV, CFZ)
Auxiliary Radiator Rear Duct (1) - Install
Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Install [3x]
Front Wheelhouse Liner- Right Side (3) - Move into position
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer- Right Side (2) - Install
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt- Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt- Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
- Front Bumper Fascia Bolt- Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
- Quantity of fasteners may vary based on option content.
- Left side shown, right side similar.
Engine Front Splash Shield- Right Side (2) - Install
- Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer- Right Side (3) - Install [2x]
- Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt- Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
- Quantity of fasteners may vary based on option content.
- Left side shown, right side similar.
Front Tire Front Air Deflector- Right Side (2) - Install
- Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt- Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
