Installation Procedure

  1. GM5875387
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  2. GM5875352

    Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe (3) - Install

    3. NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

  3. Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Washer (2) - Install NEW
  4. Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Fitting Clip (2) - Install

  6. Positive Assurance Cap (1) - Install

    Engine Mount Bracket (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

    Engine Mount Bracket Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Engine Mount (1) - Install

  10. Lower the engine.

    Engine Mount Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    12. CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  12. Engine Mount Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Install the front cradle sheer plate (2) between the front bumper fascia center air deflector and the driveline and front suspension cradle and raise into position.

  14. Ensure that the left and right side wheelhouse liners (1) are positioned in place under the front cradle sheer plate (2).

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  16. GM5877036

    Front Crossmember Brace Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications

  17. Front Cradle Shear Plate Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  18. Front Cradle Shear Plate Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  19. Remove the jack.

    Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Retainer (2) - Install

  21. Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Front Compartment Air Deflector- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Front Bumper Fascia Lower Stiffener Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

  24. Front Compartment Air Deflector Retainer- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]
  25. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  26. Remove the support and lower vehicle.
  27. Remove the engine support fixture. Engine Support Fixture
