Installation Procedure

    Clutch Master Cylinder (3) - Install

    2. NOTE:

    Ensure correct clutch pushrod eyelet orientation and the retainer clip is fully engaged.

  2. Clutch Pedal Lever Pin Retainer (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Clutch Master Cylinder Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Install a NEW brake pedal retainer (1) to the brake pedal.

  5. Ensure the locking tabs on the brake pedal retainer are fully engaged in the brake pedal.

    Using an assistant to reposition the brake master cylinder - with power brake booster and electronic brake control module, install the brake pedal (1).

    Brake Master Cylinder Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  8. Brake Pedal Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Engage the brake pedal (1) to the brake master cylinder push rod by pushing inwards.

  10. Ensure the NEW brake pedal retainer is secured by lightly pulling rearward on the brake pedal (1).

    Battery Positive Cable (2) - Install

  12. Battery Positive Cable Retainer (3) - Install
  13. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Wiring Harness (1) - Install

  15. Retainer (2) - Install [3x]
  16. Connect the electrical connectors. (3)

    Reposition the instrument panel outer air outlet inner duct (1).

  18. Air Distributor Duct Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Serial Data Gateway Bracket (2) - Install

  20. Serial Data Gateway Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  21. Connect and position the wiring harness.

    NOTE:

    Typical wiring harness shown. Individual wiring harnesses may differ based on option content.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Deflector (2) - Install

  24. Instrument Panel Tie Bar Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side Outer (2) - Install

  26. Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Connect and position the wiring harness.

    Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  30. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  31. Connect the electrical connector.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  33. Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad (1) - Install
  34. Return the steering column to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

    Install the tabs into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

  39. Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Attach the hood primary latch release cable end retainer to the hood primary latch release cable handle (1).

    Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connector.

  44. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Driver Side (2) - Install
  45. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Remove the plug from the clutch master cylinder reservoir hose (2) outlet.

  47. Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir Hose (2) - Install
  48. Remove the plug from the clutch master cylinder pipe (3) inlet.
  49. Clutch Master Cylinder Pipe (3) @ Clutch Master Cylinder - Install
  50. Retainer (1) @ Clutch Master Cylinder - Engage
  51. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  52. Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration
  53. Bleed the clutch hydraulic system. Hydraulic Clutch System Bleeding 
  54. Perform the clutch pedal position sensor learn procedure. Clutch Pedal Position Learn
