Windshield Wiper Transmission (2) - Remove - Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement
Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Remove - Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (C24)Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LGX with CJ2)Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LTA C24)Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LTA CJ2)
From within the engine compartment, remove the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module bolt (1), securing the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module to the cowl panel.

Windshield Garnish molding (1) - Remove - Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement [2x]
Body Control Module (1) - Remove - Body Control Module Replacement
Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Drain Hose - Right Side (1) - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Drain Hose Replacement (Right Side)Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Drain Hose Replacement (Left Side)
Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Drain Hose - Left Side (1) - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Drain Hose Replacement (Right Side)Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Drain Hose Replacement (Left Side)
Instrument Panel Carrier (1) - Remove - Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (UQH) Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (UQA, UQS)
- Carefully disconnect the instrument panel wiring harness and both connectors on the right side windshield pillar.
- The instrument panel wiring harness fuse block is removed with the instrument panel tie bar as an assembly.
- Disconnect all electrical connectors.
- Note the location and routing of the wiring harness to ensure proper reinstallation.
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Brake Pedal Assembly (1) - Remove - Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement (LGX)Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement (LTA)
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Instrument Panel Tie Bar Nut (2) - Remove
- Air Distributor Nut (3) - Remove
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Nut (2) - Remove
- Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (3) - Remove [2x]
Note the location of the guide pins (1).
- NOTE:
The heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module is removed with the instrument panel tie bar as an assembly.
With the aid of an assistant, remove the instrument panel tie bar assembly from the vehicle (1).
- Transfer components as necessary.
