Removal Procedure

   Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (3) - Remove - Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement

   Front Compartment Side Sight Shield (2) - Remove - Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Replacement

   Air Inlet Grille Panel (1) - Remove - Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

   Disconnect the cable end retainer (1) from the latch.

5. Release the hood primary latch release cable from the retainers (2).

   Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable (1) from the inside handle. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement

   Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) from the plenum upper panel.

8. Attach mechanics wire to the cable and pull the cable out.
