Radiator Replacement (LFX)

Preliminary Procedures Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement . Remove the engine coolant fan shroud from the vehicle. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LFX) . Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) . Remove the radiator inlet and outlet hoses from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LFX) , and Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LFX) . Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipes from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (LFX) , and Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement (LFX) . Remove the radiator upper mounts. Refer to Radiator Upper Mount Replacement (LFX, LF3) . Unclip and reposition the air conditioning condenser without disconnecting the air conditioning compressor or air conditioning evaporator hoses. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LFX) .
1	Radiator Procedure Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) . Check the cooling system for leaks. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .

Remove the radiator upper mounts. Refer to Radiator Upper Mount Replacement (LFX, LF3) .
Unclip and reposition the air conditioning condenser without disconnecting the air conditioning compressor or air conditioning evaporator hoses. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LFX) .

Radiator

Procedure

Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
Check the cooling system for leaks. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .
