Preliminary Procedures Drain the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LF3) Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum Fill LF3) . Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) . Remove the wiring harness retainers from the charge air cooler coolant hose-fill tee hose.
1	Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose-Fill Tee Hose Clamp (Qty: 3) Special Tools BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
2	Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose-Fill Tee Hose Procedure Fill the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LF3) Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum Fill LF3) . Check the charge air cooling system for leaks.
