Preliminary Procedure Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) Disconnect the charge air bypass valve right side from the charge air cooler inlet pipe right side. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement - Right Side (LF3) If the air cleaner outlet rear duct requires removal from the vehicle, disconnect the PCV tube. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (LF3 (Camshaft Cover to PCV Tube)) , or Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (LF3 (Bank 1 Camshaft Cover to Air Outlet Duct)) , or Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (LF3 (Bank 2 Camshaft Cover to Air Outlet Duct)) Turbocharger Inlet Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement NOTE: Remove the duct with the bypass valve and hose as an assembly then transfer parts.
1	Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Clamp CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 4 N.m (35 lb in) NOTE: Ensure the outlet duct is fully seated to the mating surfaces before clamping. Verify that the cuff is not rolled under.
2	Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Spring Clip Procedure Use a flat bladed tool to disengage both sides of the spring clip to remove air cleaner outlet duct from turbocharger. NOTE: Spring clip is buried low and is a blind operation.
3	Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Procedure Lift up on the air cleaner assembly to remove from retainer.
