Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LF3)

Preliminary Procedure Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) Disconnect the charge air bypass valve left side from the charge air cooler inlet pipe left side. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement - Left Side (LF3) Disconnect the PCV tube from the air cleaner outlet duct. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (LF3 (Camshaft Cover to PCV Tube)) , or Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (LF3 (Bank 1 Camshaft Cover to Air Outlet Duct)) , or Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (LF3 (Bank 2 Camshaft Cover to Air Outlet Duct)) NOTE: Remove the duct with the bypass valve and hose as an assembly then transfer parts.
1	Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 4 N.m (35 lb in) NOTE: Ensure the outlet duct is fully seated to the mating surfaces before clamping. Verify that the cuff is not rolled under.
2	Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Spring Clip Procedure Use a flat bladed tool to disengage both sides of the spring clip to remove air cleaner outlet duct from turbocharger. NOTE: Spring clip is buried low and is a blind operation.
3	Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Procedure Lift up on the air cleaner assembly to remove from retainer.
