Removal Procedure
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX)
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
Disconnect the fuel feed hose (1) from the fuel rail. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Unclip the fuel feed hose from the retainers.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Lower the rear of the drivetrain and front suspension frame 51 mm (2 in). Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement
- Unclip the fuel feed hose from the line retainer on the cowl panel.
- If equipped, remove the right front underbody air deflector. Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side
- If equipped, remove the right rear underbody air deflector. Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side (AWD)
Disconnect the fuel feed hose (1) from the fuel feed pipe. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Disconnect fuel pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the fuel feed hose (1) from the retainers.
- Remove the fuel feed hose (1) from the vehicle.
- If replacing fuel feed hose with new hose remove the fuel pressure sensor. Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Feed Pipe (FWD) Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Feed Pipe (AWD)
