Removal Procedure
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3)
- Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement (LF3)
Disconnect the fuel feed hose (1) from the fuel rail. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the drivetrain and front suspension frame. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement
- Remove the air condition evaporator thermal expansion valve heat and brake pipe shield. Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Heat and Brake Pipe Shield Replacement (LF3)
Disconnect the fuel feed hose (2) from the retainers (1).
- If equipped, remove the right front underbody air deflector. Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side
- If equipped, remove the right rear underbody air deflector. Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side (AWD)
Disconnect the fuel feed hose (2) from the fuel feed pipe. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Disconnect fuel pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the fuel feed hose (2) from the retainers (1).
- Remove the fuel feed hose (2) from the vehicle.
- If replacing fuel feed hose with new hose remove the fuel pressure sensor. Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Feed Pipe (AWD)
