Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Cadillac) . Remove the spare wheel hoist. Refer to Spare Wheel Hoist Replacement Remove the spare wheel hoist lock cylinder and lock cylinder case. Refer to Spare Wheel Hoist Lock Cylinder Replacement Remove the tow vehicle electrical receptacle. Refer to Tow Vehicle Electrical Receptacle Replacement Remove the electronic parking brake control module if equipped. Refer to Electronic Parking Brake Control Module Replacement
1	Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2	Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bolt - Side (Qty 4) Tighten 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
3	Rear Bumper Impact Bar Procedure Disconnect the electrical harness from the impact bar if needed.
