Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear body structure stop lamp. Refer to Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Replacement (Chevrolet, GMC) .
1	Rear License Plate Lamp Procedure Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull from the rear body structure stop lamp. Pull backup bulb straight out from the rear lamp wiring harness.

Procedure

Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull from the rear body structure stop lamp.
