1	Steering Column Shroud Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Lower Steering Column Shroud Procedures Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the tabs securing the upper shroud cover to the lower trim cover. Disconnect the steering column tilt wheel and telescope switch. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Switch Replacement .
3	Upper Steering Column Shroud Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the tabs securing the instrument panel cluster trim plate to the upper and lower trim cover.

Lower Steering Column Shroud

Procedures

Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the tabs securing the upper shroud cover to the lower trim cover.
Disconnect the steering column tilt wheel and telescope switch. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Switch Replacement .

Upper Steering Column Shroud
Procedure
Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the tabs securing the instrument panel cluster trim plate to the upper and lower trim cover.
