Preliminary Procedure Ensure the bearing is installed squarely into the input shaft bore.
1	Transfer Case Input Shaft Pilot Bearing Procedure Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, remove the input shaft pilot bearing by going through the front of the input gear. Install the bearing using the small side of the DT-48212 bearing installer. Press the bearing until the tool bottoms on the input shaft. Transfer Case Input Shaft Pilot Bearing

Procedure

Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, remove the input shaft pilot bearing by going through the front of the input gear.
Install the bearing using the small side of the DT-48212 bearing installer.
Press the bearing until the tool bottoms on the input shaft.
