Preliminary Procedure  Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill L96)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill L96)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill L83 L86)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill L83 L86) . Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Chevrolet and GMC) Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Cadillac)
1	Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . Procedure  Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical wiring harness connector. Tighten  20 N.m (15 lb ft)
