Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Support the transmission with a suitable jack.
  3. Remove the wire harness retainer at the front transmission mount bracket.

  4. Remove the front transmission mount through bolt (1).

  5. Remove and DISCARD the three transmission mount-to-transmission attachment bolts (2).
  6. Remove the jack from under the transmission.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement
  9. Remove the transmission mount (1) from the vehicle.
