Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LFX)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX)Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) .
2. Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Remove the front end upper tie bar. Refer to Front End Upper Tie Bar Replacement .
4. Disconnect the engine coolant fan motor connectors.
5. Reposition the electrical wiring harness.
6. Remove the secondary air injection pipe retainer from the shroud if equipped with NU6. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pipe Replacement (LFX) .
