Charge Air Cooler Radiator Replacement (LF3)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LF3) Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum Fill LF3) .
  2. Remove charge air cooler coolant outlet pipe from the charge air cooler radiator. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF3) .
  3. Remove the charge air cooler coolant hose-pump inlet from the charge air cooler radiator. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Replacement - Pump Inlet (LF3) .
1 Charge Air Cooler Radiator Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .
2 Charge Air Cooler Radiator

Procedure

  1. Fill the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LF3) Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum Fill LF3) .
  2. Check the charge air cooling system for leaks.
