Preliminary Procedures Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) , Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) . Disconnect the charge air bypass valve left side. Refer to Charge Air Bypass Valve Replacement - Left Side (LF3) . Disconnect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube retainer from the charge air cooler inlet pipe.
1	Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Clamp
2	Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Bolts (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 (80 lb in)
3	Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Procedure Install NEW charge air cooler inlet pipe seal.
