Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) .
  2. Disconnect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle left cylinder bank. Refer to Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube Replacement (Bundle Rear Section LF3) , Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube Replacement (Bundle Front Section LF3) , Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube Replacement (Left Cylinder Bank LF3) .
1 Charge Air Bypass Valve
Procedure 
Disconnect the quick connect fittings by squeezing both ends.
