Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Removal of the charge air cooler pipe is not required for cylinders 2 and 6 coil replacement.

  1. For cylinder #4, remove the charge air cooler inlet pipe (left). Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement - Left Side (LF3) .
    2. Fig 1: Engine Wiring Harness Electrical Connector(s)

  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector(s) (1) from the ignition coil(s) (2).

  3. Remove the ignition coil bolt(s) (1).
  4. Remove the ignition coil(s) (2).
