WARNING: Refer to Eye Protection Warning . WARNING: Refer to Liftgate Hydraulic System Warning . Preliminary Procedures Open and support the liftgate. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the accessory and liftgate control module. Refer to Accessory and Liftgate Control Module Replacement . Position a clean protective covering over the interior and adjacent panels.
1	Liftgate Hydraulic Pump Nut (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Reposition the hydraulic pump to access the hydraulic pump hoses. Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
2	Liftgate Hydraulic Pump Procedure Disconnect the hydraulic pump hoses. Refer to Liftgate Hydraulic Actuator Hose Disconnection and Connection . Inspect the liftgate hydraulic system for proper operation before final assembly of the trim panels. Refer to Liftgate Hydraulic System Refilling , and Liftgate Hydraulic System Bleeding .

Preliminary Procedures

Open and support the liftgate.
Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

CAUTION:

Procedure
Reposition the hydraulic pump to access the hydraulic pump hoses.
Tighten
12 N.m (106 lb in)

Disconnect the hydraulic pump hoses. Refer to Liftgate Hydraulic Actuator Hose Disconnection and Connection .
Inspect the liftgate hydraulic system for proper operation before final assembly of the trim panels. Refer to Liftgate Hydraulic System Refilling , and Liftgate Hydraulic System Bleeding .
