Circuit/System Verification

P0A2B and P0A31

  1. Allow the vehicle to cool to ambient temperature by leaving the ignition OFF and not connected to a charger for at least 6 hours.
  2. Ignition ON, for the appropriate drive motor, observe scan tool hybrid powertrain control module Motor Temperature parameter and motor control module Phase U, V, W Inverter Temperature parameters.
  3. Verify Motor Temperature and Phase U, V, W Inverter Temperature parameters are within 28°C (50°F) of each other and ambient temperature.
    • If all temperature parameters are within the specified range 
  4. All OK.

P0A2C, P0A2D, P0A32, and P0A33

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify appropriate scan tool motor control module Motor Temperature Sensor parameter is between 0.29-4.42 V.
    • If within the specified range 
  3. All OK.
