Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence System Replacement - Front (without HP2)

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution . Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (without HP2) or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (with HP2) .
1	Front Seat Recliner Lever (If Equipped) Procedure: Using a flat-bladed tool, push the retainer clip downward and pull outward to release the knob.
2	Front Seat Adjuster Outer Finish Cover Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (with HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Manual Seat without HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Power Seat without HP2) .
3	Front Seat Adjuster Inner Finish Cover Refer to Front Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (with HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement (without HP2) .
4	Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Procedure Disengage the j-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.
5	Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Sensor Retainer (Qty: 2)
6	Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Sensor Procedure Lay the seat on its side. Unhook connector from retainer on seat frame and push up through seat pan. Disconnect and remove sensor.
7	Front Seat Adjuster Assembly Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Manual Seat without HP2) or Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (with HP2) or Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (without HP2) .
8	Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Module Rivet (Qty: 2) Tip: Drill out the rivets to remove and install using new rivets.
9	Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Module Procedure: Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Control Module References . Tip: The inflatable restraint front passenger presence module is serviced as a kit that also includes the sensor.
