Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the auxiliary lower transmission line to the auxiliary transmission oil cooler (TOC). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  4. Remove the lower TOC line from the auxiliary TOC.

  5. Disconnect the radiator to auxiliary TOC line from the auxiliary TOC. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  6. Remove the radiator to TOC line from the auxiliary TOC.

  7. Remove the auxiliary TOC retaining bolts.
  8. Remove the auxiliary TOC from the vehicle.
