Torque Converter Replacement

Torque Converter Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
1 Torque Converter Assembly
Tip: 
  • Place a drain pan under the front of the transmission.
  • Use care not to damage the torque converter seal during the installation procedure.
  • Rotate the torque converter assembly in order to engage the input shaft, the stator shaft, and the lugs onto the oil pump drive gear.
2 Turbine Shaft Seal O-ring
