Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Remove the front and rear sections of the supercharger inlet duct assembly. Refer to Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement .
  3. Remove the supercharger assembly. Refer to Supercharger Replacement .
  4. Remove the water outlet housing. Refer to Water Outlet Housing Replacement (LC3) .
  5. Remove the supercharger drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement - Supercharger .

  6. Remove the right exhaust camshaft sensor. Refer to Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust .
  7. Remove the right intake camshaft sensor. Refer to Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake .
  8. Remove the right camshaft cover. Refer to Camshaft Cover Replacement - Right Side .
  9. Remove the cam sensor harness from the retainers.

  10. Remove the right intake camshaft position actuator solenoid bolts.
  11. Remove the right intake camshaft position actuator solenoid.
  12. Remove the right intake camshaft position actuator solenoid alignment plug and discard.

  13. Remove the right exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid bolts.
  14. Remove the right exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid.
  15. Remove the right exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid alignment plug and discard.

  16. Remove the right camshaft position actuator housing bolts.
  17. Remove the right camshaft position actuator housing.
