Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left intake camshaft actuator (6). Refer to Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Replacement - Bank 2 (Left) Intake .
  2. Remove the left exhaust camshaft actuator (9). Refer to Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Replacement - Bank 2 (Left) Exhaust .

  3. Remove the left intake camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Removal - Left Intake .

  4. Remove the left exhaust camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Removal - Left Exhaust .
  5. Clean and inspect the camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection .
