1 Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check? - Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

  1. Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.
  2. Press and release the Eng/Met button.
Does the MPH indicator and then the km/h indicator illuminate after each button activation?
- Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems Go to Step 3

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. With a scan tool, observe the English/Metric Status parameter in the Radio System Configuration data list.
  3. Press the Eng/Met button.
Does the English/Metric Status parameter display Active?
- Go to Step 4  Go to Step 5 
4 Replace the IPC. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
Did you find and correct the condition?
- Go to Step 6  -
5 Replace the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.
Did you find and correct the condition?
- Go to Step 6  -
6 Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
Did you correct the condition?
- System OK Go to Step 2
