Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connectors and install the sunload sensors to the defroster grille. Refer to Sunload and Twilight Sentinel Sensor Replacement 
  2. Align the defroster grille (3) with the IP carrier.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the defroster grille fasteners (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the defroster grille fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the IP upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper 
  5. Enable the SIR. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
