Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2. Determines if the fault is due to a short to ground condition.
  2. 3. Determines if the fault is due to a short to voltage condition.
  3. 4. Tests for a short to ground in the position sensor supply circuits.
  4. 5. Tests for a short between the position sensor supply and ground circuits.
  5. 6. Tests for a short to voltage in the position sensor supply circuits.
