Check Coolant Level Message Always On

  1. Perform IPC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. Connect scan tool. Disconnect coolant level switch connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using scan tool, read status for coolant level switch in IPC data list. If scan tool displays OFF for coolant level switch input, go to step  3 . If scan tool does not display OFF for coolant level switch input, go to next step.
  2. Repair short in Light Green wire between coolant level switch and IPC Gray 24-pin connector C2, terminal A10. See Figure . Recheck system operation.
  3. Replace coolant level switch. Recheck system operation.
