NOTE:
Loosening the nut will aid in releasing the HVAC module from the tie bar.

Use a suitable tool to release the HVAC module tabs (1) from the tie bar.

Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [ 2x ]
Note the location and routing of the instrument panel wiring harness prior to removal to ensure proper installation.
Support the HVAC module in order to prevent damage.
With the aid of an assistant, remove the instrument panel tie bar assembly from the vehicle. (2)
Transfer components as necessary.
