Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Radiator Surge Tank Overflow Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Overflow Hose Replacement (Radiator Surge Tank to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe) , or Radiator Surge Tank Overflow Hose Replacement (Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe to Radiator) Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Replacement {If equipped} Power Transfer Unit Vent Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Power Transfer Unit Vent Replacement
1	Radiator Surge Tank Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Radiator Surge Tank Procedure Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.

Radiator Surge Tank

Procedure

Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)
Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
