Align the power brake booster pushrod with the brake pedal retainer.

CAUTION:
Fastener Caution

Power Brake Booster Bolt(1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)[2x]

Fuel Injector Wiring Harness Retainer(1) - Secure
Position the heater coolant pump to the transmission case.

{If equipped} Heater Coolant Pump Stud(1) - Install - Heater Coolant Pump Replacement

NOTE:

Ensure the brake master cylinder gasket is positioned correctly against the master cylinder mounting flange.

Position the master cylinder to the power brake booster.

NOTE:
Install NEW nuts.

Brake Master Cylinder Nut (1) - Install and tighten 49 N.m (36 lb ft)[2x]
Connect the brake fluid level indicator switch electrical connector.

A small amount of denatured alcohol may be used as a lubricant for assembly.

Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor(1) - Install
Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor Electrical Connector - Connect
Reposition and install the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement
