Removal Procedure

- Camshaft Timing Chain - Right Side - Remove - Camshaft Timing Chain Assembly Replacement - Right Side
Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield (1) - Remove - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe (1) - Remove - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (3.6L LGX)
Fuel Pump (2) - Remove - Fuel Pump Replacement
- Remove the ground wire bolt and ground wire.
- Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
- Camshaft - Right Side - Remove - Camshaft Replacement - Right Side
Valve Lifter-Right Side (1, 2) - Remove - Valve Lifter Replacement - Right Side
Camshaft Carrier - Right Side (2) - Remove - Camshaft Carrier Removal - Right Side
Cylinder Head Bolt (1) [8x] - Remove and DISCARD
- Remove and DISCARD the rear M8 right cylinder head bolt (2).
- Cylinder Head Assembly (3) - Remove
- Cylinder Head Gasket (4) - Remove and DISCARD
- Cylinder Head Cleaning and Inspection
- Engine Block Cleaning and Inspection
- Disassemble the cylinder head as necessary. Cylinder Head Disassemble
