Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front wheelhouse liner right side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  3. Remove the engine splash shield right side. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement .
    4. Fig 1: Water Pump Cover, Gasket & Bolts

  4. Remove the 4 water pump cover bolts (1) and the water pump cover (2).
