Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Timing Chain Guide Access Hole Plug & Washer

  2. Remove the timing chain guide access hole plug (2) and remove and DISCARD the washer (1).
    3. Fig 2: Timing Chain Guide & Bolts

  3. Remove the 2 timing chain guide bolts (2) and the timing chain guide (1).
