Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement (Manual Transmission) Oil Pan Replacement (Automatic Transmission) .
    2. Fig 1: Engine Oil Level Sensor Wiring Harness Plug & Clip

  2. Remove the oil level sensor wiring harness plug clip.

  3. Remove the 2 oil level sensor bolts (2).
  4. Remove the oil level sensor wiring harness from the lashes in the oil pan (4)
  5. Remove the oil level sensor wiring harness plug (1) from the oil pan. Remove and DISCARD the seal ring (5).
  6. Remove the oil level sensor (3).
