Preliminary Procedure Remove the transmission torque converter. Refer to Torque Converter Replacement .
1	Torque Converter Fluid Seal CAUTION: Support the back side of the torque converter housing while installing the seal. Install the seal until it stops moving. Applying excessive pressure to the seal once it is seated could cause damage to the torque converter housing casting.
