Preliminary Procedures Steering Column Dash Inner Seal Replacement Lower the steering gear as necessary to provide enough clearance to remove the steering column dash outer seal. Electric Dual Pinion Rack and Pinion Steering Gear Replacement (FWD, LTG, M7W, NJ1) or Electric Dual Pinion Rack and Pinion Steering Gear Replacement (FWD, LEA/MH8, LUK/MHH, NJ1)
1	Steering Column Dash Outer Seal Procedure Position the steering column dash outer seal over the steering gear and on the dash panel. Ensure the seal is aligned with the steering gear and dash panel correctly.
