Conditions for Setting the DTC

P0030 or P0036

• The ECM detects that the affected HO2S heater low control circuit voltage is not within a specified range.
• DTCs P0030 and P0036 set within 3s when the above condition is met.

P0031 and P0037 

The ECM detects a short to ground in the heater control circuit of the heated oxygen sensor when the heater is commanded OFF. The condition exists for greater than 7s.

P0032 and P0038 

The ECM detects a short to voltage in the heater circuits of the heated oxygen sensor when the heater is commanded ON. The condition exists for greater than 7s.

P0053 or P0054

• The ECM detects that the affected HO2S heater low control circuit resistance is not within a specified range at engine start-up.
• DTCs P0053 and P0054 set within 1s when the above condition is met.

P0135

• The ECM detects that the affected HO2S1 heater current parameter is more than 2.5A or less than 0.3A.
• DTC P0135 sets within 60s when the above condition is met.

P0141

• The ECM detects that the affected HO2S2 heater current parameter is more than 2.5A or less than 0.3A.
• DTC P0141 sets within 60s when the above condition is met.
