Removal Procedure

  1. Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to the Fuel Pressure Relief .
  2. Remove the J 34730-1A  gauge.
  3. Using the CH-37287-1A  tool, disconnect the quick coupling from the fuel feed pipe of the fuel rail. Use a shop towel in order to catch any remaining fuel that may leak.
  4. Connect the quick-connect fitting of the fuel feed hose to the fuel feed pipe of the fuel rail.
  5. Turn ON the ignition in order to pressurize the fuel system.
  6. Turn OFF the ignition.
  7. Check for any fuel leaks.
  8. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
