Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lower oil pan. Refer to . Lower Oil Pan Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the oil level sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove the engine oil level sensor retainer (1).

  4. Remove the engine oil level sensor fasteners (1).

    NOTE:

    Replace the O-ring around the level sensor.

  5. Remove the engine oil level sensor (1) from the oil pan.
