Preliminary Procedures
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LTG)

Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Procedure
- Remove the radiator surge tank inlet hose retaining clips from the fuel feed front pipe.
- After installation, fill the coolant reservoir to the proper level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Inspect cooling system for leaks.
