Preliminary Procedures

Draining the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the water inlet housing.
Disconnect the radiator surge tank hose from the water inlet housing. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Replacement .
