Failure to do so may cause the system to malfunction. Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the driver or passenger seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Removal and Installation (Oshawa 2/4/6-Way Hybrid, 6-Way Sport) . Remove the front seat outer adjuster finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Outer Adjuster Finish Cover Replacement (8-Way Power) . Remove the driver or passenger seat adjuster finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Replacement (8-Way-Power) . Remove the driver or passenger seat inner recliner finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover Replacement (2/4/6-Way Hybrid, 6-Way Hybrid Sport) . When working with the passenger seat re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. 1	Front Seat Cushion Cover Procedure Clip out cushion cover at seat frame rear side. Clip out cushion cover at seat frame left side. Clip out cushion cover at seat frame right side. Clip out cushion cover at seat frame front side. Remove seat cushion with cushion pad. Remove the hog rings from the under side of the seat cushion. Pull the cushion cover from the cushion pad.

Remove the driver or passenger seat adjuster finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Replacement (8-Way-Power) .
Remove the driver or passenger seat inner recliner finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover Replacement (2/4/6-Way Hybrid, 6-Way Hybrid Sport) .
When working with the passenger seat re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Control Module References

Front Seat Cushion Cover

Procedure

Clip out cushion cover at seat frame rear side.
Clip out cushion cover at seat frame left side.
Clip out cushion cover at seat frame right side.
Clip out cushion cover at seat frame front side.
Remove seat cushion with cushion pad.
Remove the hog rings from the under side of the seat cushion.
Pull the cushion cover from the cushion pad.
