Preliminary Procedures Remove the transmission control lever boot. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Boot Replacement . Remove the front floor console extension panels. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement . Remove the instrument panel ashtray housing. Refer to Instrument Panel Ashtray Housing Replacement .
1	Front Floor Console Fastener (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Move the front seats forward or backward in order to access the fasteners for removal.
2	Front Floor Console Assembly Procedures Disconnect the electrical connections. When replacing the front floor console assembly, transfer all necessary components.
