Preliminary Procedures Remove both front floor console extension panels. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement .

2	Instrument Panel Ashtray Housing Procedure Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to release the I/P ashtray housing from the instrument panel. Disconnect the electrical connections. If replacing the I/P panel ashtray housing, transfer all necessary components.

Procedure

Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to release the I/P ashtray housing from the instrument panel.
Disconnect the electrical connections.
If replacing the I/P panel ashtray housing, transfer all necessary components.
